Case Study
Everlock Systems’ RC Multi-Use Lock Saves the Day for One of Our Clients
Not too long ago, one of our clients—a major player in the oil and pipeline business—ran into a significant safety and protection issue concerning their pipelines. Some of their facilities existed on or made use of property belonging to independent landowners. Understanding the need for a lock-based solution that would provide ease of use for multiple users—including the landowners—while also reaching the highest industry standards for security and protection, they contacted us at Everlock Systems for help.
Before learning about Everlock Systems, our client relied on the common solution of multiple locks linked together on a single chain. One of the many problems with such a solution revolves around users losing access. For instance, if any user relocks in a hurry, there is a risk of attaching the lock at the wrong position on the chain. This means whichever lock(s) were skipped will no longer unlock the chain and ultimately the gate. In our client’s case, the landowner had been locked out of his own property one too many times and wanted a change.
Sympathizing completely with the landowner’s complaint, our client engaged in extensive online research for a better way. By the time the client finished researching, one company and one lock stood above the rest: Everlock Systems and our RC Multi-User Lock System. Allowing for multi-user access points, the RC Multi-User Lock System accepts between six and ten locks, each entirely independent of the other to prevent accidental lockouts.
Since the upgrade, our client couldn’t be happier. As he puts it, the RC system “alleviated a lot of headaches” and “saved us time from going out to the site” whenever someone was locked out. Furthermore, he told us there’s “no confusion on how to lock it. Just take your lock out and put it back in place. It’s perfect.” When it comes to customer service, our client summed it up in one word: “Great!” And when asked if they will use Everlock Systems again, the answer was concrete: “Yes, we would. It was a great experience.”
At Everlock Systems, we’re thrilled to have our client’s ringing endorsement. And it’s because we make industry-leading locking systems that work. To learn more about our products, contact us today!
