Typically, when you allow someone to add a lock to a daisy chain, you give that person 24/7 access to your property, but maybe you don’t want that person to have such unfettered access. With our RC Multi-User Lock System, the primary user can easily restrict any secondary user’s window of access. For instance, if you want a secondary user to have site access only on Mondays, it’s as simple as moving a pin on the locking system, making the secondary user’s lock inactive Tuesday-Sunday. The secondary user’s padlock remains in place, but they cannot unlock the system until the primary user re-engages their lock space. Further, if the primary user has, for instance, a six-lock system but only actively needs three secondary users, they can “block out” the other two lock tabs so that they are temporarily inoperable. This prevents random users from placing their padlocks in those open spaces.
