A Referral to Everlock Meant Increased Security for this SoCal Water District
A big concern for many business owners and facilities is security. With so many people requiring or asking for access to your facility on a regular basis, it can be difficult to maintain security at all times. Fortunately, Everlock Systems produces high quality products designed to provide multi-access locking systems for security and peace of mind.
The Client & Their Challenges
The Western Municipal Water District had that exact issue with their previous “Daisy Chain” system of multiple locks strung across roadways and attached to gates by third party service providers, public entities, and other utility contractors. Because of a lack of accountability and a lack of simple security hardware, contractors would accidentally lock the company out of their own facility or worse, leave the site completely unprotected by leaving gates unlocked.
Once having realized the problem, the Western Municipal Water District searched for a solution. Today, the District uses multi-access locking hardware from Everlock Systems. Not only is Everlock a local company, it has provided quality security solutions to similar customers all over the United States.
The Solution
The water district ended up purchasing the RC.SS-6 locking model. This product includes a heavy-duty steel fabrication that allows users to have more control over service vendor and third party access. This lock enables primary users to engage or disengage access to secondary users, which helps with security control. After seeing all of its capabilities, the Western Municipal Water District agreed that this Everlock product fit their needs perfectly. They went ahead and placed this system at three different site locations.
The Results
The Western Municipal Water District has been pleased with the Everlock multi-access locking system. It saved the District both time and money by reducing staff time previously spent locking and unlocking those three sites. In fact, with the new locking system, the water district saves about $280 every time they need to lock and unlock their facilities. Sergio Felix, a construction management administrator for the District was given a Best Achievement Award from The WMWD for coming up with the idea to switch to the cost-effective locking system.
“The district sees a definite need for this type of locking system. It’s more than just a lock,” says Felix. “It improves security, ensures proper management of your property, and so much more. I can’t wait to use Everlock Systems for more of our sites.”
